Pierluigi Matera is a corporate law scholar and attorney with extensive experience in both U.S. and European company law. He is a Professor of U.S. Corporate Law at Rome-LCU. He teaches Corporations and M&A in the JD program at Boston University Law School. At LUISS, he teaches Law and Economics – Corporate and Business Law.

Professor Matera has published widely in leading law journals, including the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law, and the Boston University Journal of Science and Technology Law. His short notes and commentary have been featured on prominent law blogs and forums, such as the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance, the Columbia Law School Blue Sky Blog, and the Oxford Business Law Blog.
