Anna is Research Fellow in Sustainable Innovation Law at Luiss University, Rome. She also serves as Head of Research at ‘LabGov - the Laboratory for the Governance of the Commons’. Earlier, she worked at the European Commission’s JRC where she led the ‘Sensing for Justice’ project on civic evidence for environmental law enforcement. Anna is Qualified Barrister, following climate and environmental law cases pro-bono at ‘Systasis - Centre for the Prevention and Management of Environmental Conflicts’, Milan. Anna holds a PhD in Environmental Law & Technology from Tilburg University. She has worked on water conflicts in Latin America, on water rights and international and EU water law, and she contributed to a PRIMA project on the reliance on non-conventional water resources for the Mediterranean basin.
