Full Professor of Economics and Business Management and Professor of Management of Cultural Enterprises at the University of Campania "L. Vanvitelli", he also teaches Museum Management at the University Suor Orsola Benincasa in Naples and Heritage, Tourism and Sustainable Economic Development Policies at the University Luiss - Guido Carli in Rome. Member of the Board of Directors of the University of Naples "L'Orientale" and of the Royal Palace of Caserta; member of the Steering Committee of the scientific journal Economia della Cultura, published by Il Mulino.

For over 25 years he has been carrying out theoretical studies and research in the field, on behalf of public and private institutions, in the field of museums and culture. He is the author of over 120 scientific contributions in national and international books and journals. In 2018 he published the volume Management for the cultural enterprise in the series "Studi superiori" by Carocci Editore.
