Paolo Spagnoletti is a Full Professor of Organization Studies at the Department of Business and Management at Luiss and holds the Fastweb+Vodafone Chair in Cybersecurity and Digital Transformation. He is the Director of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Economics and Management at Luiss, as well as of master's and executive programs in the field of digital innovation and governance. He is a member of the Coordination and Management Committee of the Italian competence center Cyber 4.0 and a Visiting Professor at the Department of Information Systems at the University of Agder, where he collaborates with the Center for Integrated Emergency Management (CIEM). In 2023, he was named a Distinguished Member of AIS. He earned his PhD in Business Information Systems from Luiss and has held teaching and research positions at the Universities of Agder, Warwick, Georgia State, St. Gallen, Paris Dauphine, Lausanne, SKEMA, and the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research interests focus on digital platforms and cybersecurity. He is the author of numerous articles published in leading international journals such as JAIS, JIT and JSIS. He has served as an Associate Editor for the journal Information and Management and is currently an Executive Editor of the Springer LNISO series.
