Luiss Welcome Desk offers support to all international students who are preparing to come study at our University in Rome. In particular, the Welcome Desk assists international students in the following areas: 

• Request of the invitation letter required for the entry visa 
• Application for an entry visa to study in Italy 
• Application for the request or the renewal of the Italian residence permit for study reasons 
• Health Insurance policy and registration at the Italian National Healthcare System
• Application for the Tax Code
• Opening an Italian bank account

Furthermore, the Welcome Desk will connect students with their University Tutors, the Tutors for International Students, the Luiss Buddies, and along with the It’s U! Service – provide information on the Italian university system.
