The Luiss Buddy Program is aimed at welcoming all students enrolled in the first year of the 2023/2024 academic year for the bachelor’s degree and single-cycle master’s degree programs. Buddies are Luiss students offering support to our youngest students at the start of their academic career, with the aim of helping them to adapt to university life and to the city of Rome. 
Buddies help students to embrace the transition from being high school students to becoming members of our university community.

The program aims at:

• facilitating the integration of freshers inside the Luiss community, particularly upon their arrival at Luiss;
• facilitating relations with the university’s organizational bodies at an educational and administrative level;
• developing a context in which freshers and “expert” students (buddies) can interact.
• ensuring that the university experience at Luiss is a highly stimulating and enriching experience. 

The buddies will support students through different activities, including:

• providing useful information about the city of Rome and the Italian university system;
• helping the student to understand the Luiss university system, i.e. where to find class schedules and syllabi, how to enroll for Luiss’ exams, providing advice about learning methods and the planning of exams;
• assisting the student’ socialization with other colleagues and integration within the Luiss community.

• Buddy desk in viale Romania: Monday-Friday, 9am-8pm
• Buddy desk in via Parenzo: Monday-Friday, 9am-8pm
