How can I migrate my course from the old platform http://elearning.luiss.it to the new platform http://learn.luiss.it?
The migration of an existing course on the old elearning.luiss.it platform is not automatic, but requires some simple operations on the part of the teacher. In fact, it is necessary to download a file containing the entire course on your PC from http://elearning.luiss.it and then upload it to the new platform http://learn.luiss.it, following the instructions on the attached GUIDE.

I migrated my account, but If I try to login to the platform for the first time I see the following message: "Invalid login, please try again". Who should I write to?
For login problems, please write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to request assistance.
For questions related to the use of the platform (so after you have successfully logged into the platform), you can write an email to email@example.com

I am a foreign language teacher and by accessing the platform http://learn.luiss.it I can not view my courses. What should I do?
The assignment of the CLA courses to the relative teachers is not automatically managed as for the courses of the other departments. You should point out the problem to the CLA, writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.

How can I enrol students in the course?
Once logged in on the new platform, students will automatically be enrolled in their courses. You only need to provide them the address of the platform and specify that they must have an account such as email@example.com.
On the home page, again on the http://learn.luiss.it platform, there are also instructions for students on how to update (migrate) their account if they have not done it yet (it is a procedure that they can perform autonomously online).

Where are my courses on http://learn.luiss.it platform?
Once logged in, on your home page (i.e. the page that is displayed immediately after login) you will see the list of courses that you have access to (corresponding to the courses that you teach). Students will already be enrolled in the relevant courses. All the material and information uploaded within a specific course will be shared only with students enrolled in that same course. To access the course space, simply click on the name of the course in question.

How can I enrol students who have not been automatically enrolled in my course? And how can I enrol a teaching assistant assigning him the right to change my course and add content?
In order to allow students and a teaching assistant to access the course, it is first necessary that they have migrated to the new platform (firstname.lastname@example.org). Subsequently the teacher can proceed to their enrolment following the procedure shown on the attached GUIDE.
To start this procedure, you have to click on "Users" -> "Enrolled users" in the "Administration" panel on the right side of the screen. Next, you can see the list of the current members, which initially contains the teacher of the course (role that allows to change the content of the course and manage the registration of other participants) and the students who are already enrolled in the course. Clicking on the "Enrol Users" button, Moodle opens a small window (pop-up) where the list of all registered users on the platform but not yet registered in the course is displayed. In correspondence of each one there is an "Enrol" button, clicking on which the corresponding user is enrolled in the course assigning him the role selected through the "Assign roles" drop-down menu. By default, the "Student" role is assigned to a new member. So, to enrol an assistant, it will be necessary to select "Teaching assistant" in the drop-down menu, searching for the assistant and then clicking on "Enrol".
Once you have finished registering the desired users, you can end the enrolment process by clicking on the "Finish enrolling users" button at the bottom of the window.

I'm the Teacher of a course, but I can not see it on the platform. What should I do?
In the case of co-teaching, the course is initially only visible to one of the two lecturers (depending on the information extracted from ESSE3). Subsequently, the lecturer who can already access the course may enrol the other one and assign him/her a "teacher role”, following the procedure described in the attached guide (pag. 8). The same procedure can be performed for teaching assistants.
